The Metaverse is an emerging concept that uses next-generation, advanced technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual Reality (VR), digital assets, spatial computing, and commerce to build an immersive, seamless experience. This experience spans virtual and physical environments and extends the boundaries of the real world. While there is much hype around the concept, enterprises remain skeptical about using it. However, given the growing interest in the space, enterprises need to evaluate the Metaverse from their business context and prepare to use it for their advantage.
