Wisdom of the Crowd: The Gig Delivery Model in Trust and Safety

Gig workers are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in Trust and Safety (T&S) roles. At this point, gig workers are generally engaged in transactional services such as data annotation, translation, transcription, and quality review. However, adoption of the gig delivery model is low in core content moderation due to security concerns and content sensitivity. To grow adoption in content moderation, organizations need to solve data security challenges and implement robust wellbeing policies.
