SUMMARY:Key issues in global sourcing
DESCRIPTION:Exposing disconnects and unlocking opportunities\nGlobal sourcing offers a lot of opportunities for transforming a business this year but in too many cases it’s not happening. Organizations aren’t able to move as they should because of personnel\, sourcing and other issues. Does this sound familiar? If so\, you’ll benefit from new analysis from Intelligent Sourcing magazine and its partner for a dinner in April\, the Everest Group. \nTwo Everest Group speakers will share results from recent research into the three key challenges which businesses say they are facing in 2019: business model disruption\, talent and skills shortages and changing sourcing models. Enterprise automation is still a red-hot topic which is having an impact on all of these areas. Everest Group will provide related insights to help you make sense of the current outsourcing climate\, as well as make prudent investment decisions. Everest Group speakers Anurag Srivastava\, vice president\, global sourcing and Sarah Burnett\, executive vice president & distinguished analyst\, will share their reallife experience and research findings in what promises to be a lively discussion. We are also delighted to welcome Salvatore Russo\, GBS strategy director at AstraZeneca\, who will offer the corporate client’s perspective. \nAs always the setting is a top London restaurant in a hotel by the river\, whose service is second to none and which reflects the seniority of the buy-side only\, invitation-only delegates. As well as an excellent presentation or three this event will offer unparalleled networking opportunities among your peers. We’ll look forward to hearing from you as early as possible and to welcoming you on the night. \nSpeakers: \nAnurag Srivastava\nVice President\, Global Sourcing\, Everest Group \nSarah Burnett\nExecutive Vice President\, Everest Group & Distinguished Analyst \nSalvatore Russo\nGBS Strategy Director at AstraZeneca

SUMMARY:Engage them with a robot
DESCRIPTION:Businesses have difficulty in engaging with customers in the initial term – which is frustrating because companies spend a lot of time and money acquiring clients in the first place. Working ferociously and manually to keep them on board seems almost unjust. So\, can automation help? This is the question asked by Intelligent Sourcing magazine\, our guest hosts for the evening\, Kofax\, and Jonathan Runting\, Ember Group consulting director\, who will look at the function of customer engagement and the role automation can play in it. \nThe advantages of robotics are many. Consistency is a given as long as it is reliable; the ability to scale up the “workforce” by firing up and down as many robots as are required means the infrastructure is always the right size. There are practicalities\, including the need to address pain points and therefore the need to articulate them and overall the need to collate data is far from trivial. \nThe benefits are worth it and at our event we will explore how to overcome the obstacles\, both from the management and people point of view and the technical. As always from Intelligent Sourcing\, the London venue will be prestigious and luxurious\, the invitation-only audience will be from the highest levels of the top organizations and the speakers will be top flight. \nWe will look forward to hosting you. Book your place early to avoid disappointment. \nSpeaker: \nJonathan Runting\nEmber Group consulting director

SUMMARY:Customer journey\, the road to…where?
DESCRIPTION:The phrase “customer journey” has been bandied about so much it’s in danger of becoming meaningless – which is a shame because at its best\, analysis and understanding of it can improve client relations and ultimately make the bottom line healthier. Ultimately it’s what a business makes of it\, which is why Intelligent Sourcing will be co-hosting an evening on the subject with our partner on this occasion\, Teleperformance. \nAs per usual we will be accommodating stimulating and challenging speakers. Mike Havard\, chief executive of advisory service the Ember Group will address the elephant in the room; understanding customer journeys is great but enhancing them takes budget. What\, realistically\, is achievable in an environment in which the financial pot is shrinking? More to the point\, what have clients done that’s worked in the real world and what have the results been? \nThere will also be the researcher’s point of view. Julian Herbert is vice president of the Everest Group and will address the impact of technology on the customer journey; IT will change the management of the journey and the staffing model as well as disrupting how enterprises will have to behave in terms of recruiting\, training and retaining people. \nTeleperformance will be on hand to offer the outsourcing partner’s perspective and to share some of its best practice\, and as always our editor will be in the chair making sure everybody’s questions get answered. The location is one of our favourite venues\, the Royal Horseguards Hotel at 2\, Whitehall Court\, a stone’s throw from Embankment Tube Station. This is an invitation-only event for senior decision makers in the industry – we will look forward to greeting you there. \nSpeakers: \nMike Havard\nChief executive of advisory service\, Ember Group \nJulian Herbert\nVice president\, Everest Group

SUMMARY:Where are you on your robotics journey?
DESCRIPTION:By now\, it’s imperative to be considering starting a journey into robotics – switched-on businesses are likely to be doing something about it already. That’s what Intelligent Sourcing is keen to discuss at the first of our exclusive dining club occasions of 2018; on 1 May\, we and co-host Infosys will be looking at just what progress is being made in the RPA space and the move towards AI. \nWe’ll be looking at why people may not have started\, how to assess vendors\, considering the pilot stage and full-scale implementations. We’ll consider the tools in action\, the areas in business that benefit. We’ll be joined by high quality experts as always. Our speaker will be Naresh Kothari\, AVP and senior director – business development at Infosys company EdgeVerve Systems. He comes from a background including 20 years experience of delivery. He specializes in high value software solutions designing with focus on automation\, machine learning\, cognitive methods and robotic process automation (RPA). He knows exactly what’s going on in the market and where. \nOur surroundings will be top of the range and attendance is strictly on an invitation-only basis. We and Infosys will look forward to meeting you on the day. \nSpeakers: \nNaresh Hothari\nAVP and Senior Director\, Infosys \nMichel Janssen\nChief Research Guru\, Everest Group

SUMMARY:Are you disrupted enough?
DESCRIPTION:Your business may only just be starting\nSenior executives and decision makers have heard the term “disrupted” so often it’s becoming a bit of a cliche – and yet the changes to everyday business are multiplying rather than slowing down. In this invitation-only session Infosys and Intelligent Sourcing will look at the changes on the way\, what’s happened already and the differences digital business is making to an organisation’s bottom line. The event will cut through the jargon and look at what’s actually going on. \nTo enable your clients to take advantage of the new environment\, you need to understand the megatrends affecting the market and take advantage of them to renew and revitalise your business. Intelligent Sourcing is therefore delighted to invite you to our advisor and influencer event on 19th April\, co-hosted by sponsor Infosys\, at which we’ll be offering insight into how your organisation can fit into this increasingly disrupted world. \nThe speakers will be of the usual high calibre offered by Intelligent Sourcing events. We’re keeping the final speaker under wraps for the moment but from Infosys we’re welcoming Mohit Joshi\, president at Infosys\, who will talk through the coming together of market and technological trends to point to the practical steps to taking part. Martin Molloy of PA Consulting and Steve Wells of Fast Future Publishing will offer independent views. \nThe event is strictly invitation-only. The venue\, the Royal Horseguards Hotel\, is one of our favourites in central London and you can expect an evening of excellent food and drink\, high quality networking and enlightening talks from our guests. There will be ample time for Q and A so you can ensure you get exactly what you need from the event.\nThere are new business models emerging – find out about them on 19th April. \nSpeakers: \nMohit Joshi\nPresident\, Infosys \nMartin Molloy\nPartner\, AI & Automation Transformation\, PA Consulting Group \nSteve Wells\nDirector of Operations\,
