You know how when someone tries to teach you something you get the feeling they’re becoming impatient? If only there were some sort of robotic entity that could do it instead…
Well, there has been for a while, as readers will know. And Dutch healthcare organization Royal Philips is using it to train its workforce, according to this report in Computer Weekly.
This is part of a move away from being a pureplay healthcare company and further into the service sector, which will need a different skill set if it’s to be addressed properly. It won’t be the first time the company has transformed itself; its background is as a lighting organization so moving into healthcare was already quite a step.
Philips Royal will work with Cornerstone to deliver the educational requirements. The business wants to move from selling hardware to selling a whole solution.
