Avaya opens new customer experience centre

Communications and collaboration vendor Avaya has opened a new customer experience centre according to UC Today – but unlike many CX centres seen by Intelligent Sourcing this one is aimed at supplying professionals with the hardware (and expertise in using it) that they need.

Avaya has for some time been a leader in unified communications, partnering with the likes of BT, and the new CX centre (or CEC as they’re calling it – they have this weird idea that ‘experience’ starts with an ‘e’, we doubt it’ll catch on) will be based in the UK.

Obviously as well as serving their clients the idea is to get them face to face to start a discussion; it’s a bit meta but we reckon the CEC is actually part of the company’s CX strategy in and of itself. Nobody is saying whether this is aimed at any specific niches but we’re guessing the CX market’s participants in the UK will be getting invitations from Avaya very soon now.
