BA considers 1000 contact centre job outsource

British Airways is looking at outsourcing around 1000 jobs to cut costs, according to the Daily Telegraph in the UK. The organisation has invited tenders for tasks involving contact centres (the Telegraph says Call Centres but our readers know better) in Newcastle and Manchester, which involves 1400 jobs in total.

Is robotics threatening traditional outsourcing?

A great piece in the Australian Financial Review (AFR) is looking at robotics or robotic process automation (RPA).
